The Culmination of Consumptionism
I got the idea from what my little sister said in a grocery store, "I won't take any plastic bags so that I can save polar bears." Even though I am in front of my computer all the time, I love nature, and always wanted to do something for it. So I decided to make this video to have people aware of little things we can do in a daily life. The voice over was done by A.J. Hamilton. All I did was gave him the information that I collected, and he just started to talk in front of mic. I made the animation based on what he said. Lucas composed the sound without using any music instrument. The sound track are mainly made with plastic bags besides whistle and humming. Its very environment friendly isn't it? This work won a first prize in Environment Category of the California Online Film Festival and semi finalist in Motion Graphic Category of Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
